Val & Willy's Wedding

DSC00179, originally uploaded by fabulousfetes.

On Thursday 12.27 I headed over to the Deering Estate for Val & Willy's wedding. Despite all the worrying Valerie did about the weather it was a BEAUTIFUL day. Barely a cloud in the sky. Valerie and her family spent many months working on all the little details that she put in to the wedding and it all looked amazing. Willy did a fabulous job constructing the arch they got married by! Who doesn't love a crafty groom!? It truly was an amazing night and Valerie and Willy are an amazing couple.

Val & Willy I had a wonderful time coordinating your wedding day. Thank you for the wonderful things you said during the reception they truly mean a lot. I wish you both many happy years together. I hope your having a blast on your honeymoon!

Stay tuned for the Photographers pictures coming soon!

Val & Willy's Rehearsal ....and a very brave raccoon!

Today was Val & Willy's Rehearsal. First, I wanted to say the Deering Estate is Beautiful! I had never been so I decided to get there a bit early and familiarize my self with the venue. I had a nice walk around the grounds and took pictures. While waiting for my lovely Bride & Groom I spotted a raccoon creeping up on some unsuspecting picnic-ers. I immediately motion to the man who did not understand what I was trying to say, while the brave raccoon proceeded to GET ON their picnic table. This lovely raccoon then decided to make his way over to where I was sitting and start messing with my stereo. Needless to say I ran away from Sir Raccoon leaving my belongings to fend for themselves. Luckily, he found nothing of interest and went back to bother the picnic-ers. :)

The rehearsal went well. Valerie's family was very welcoming and we got the whole thing done in less than an hour. I stuck around for their rehearsal picnic for a little while and went on my merry way.

Val, I cannot wait for Thursday! Your wedding is going to be beautiful!

I leave you with pictures of the estate, the rehearsal and my new friend.

Yocy & DJ's Wedding!

On November 24, 2007 I had the pleasure of being the DOC for Yocy & DJ's wedding.
I must say going to this wedding only 2 short weeks after my own I was very emotional that day. Yocelyn made the most beautiful bride, and DJ was a most handsome groom.

I had so much fun with Yocy, DJ and their families.
Yocy and DJ, I hope that you both had an amazing night!

When Yocy and I met on the Knot not only did I not know I would get to share in one of the most memorable days of her life, but I also made wonderful new friend!
Yocy, your planning process made for lots of good times and I will never forget it. I heart you!

Here are some pictures from the night.
Credit of these beautiful photos goes to photographer

I'm MARRIED!!!

The day was amazing. It truly goes by faster than you can imagine, but I will remember it all forever. The entire night was so much better than I ever envisioned. Alexis & I were both so happy. We laughed all night. Everyone kept saying how beautiful everything was which made me happy, and thanks to our great DJ (DJ Luis of Ubi's Music Productions) the dance floor was always packed. My vendors were all fabulous. I'll leave you with some pictures that were taken by my dear friend Carmen & her husband Favio of Studio by Carmen. Thank you so much for capturing our night so beautifully.

Brigitte & Mario's Wedding

This past Saturday 11.03.07 I had the absolute pleasure of co-DOC'ing Brigitte and Mario's Wedding @ Perricone's with a mutual friend of the bride and I, Alessandra. I have to give pretty much all the credit to Ale since she did the majority of the work alone. Since I have been pretty consumed with my own wedding that is coming up on Saturday, November 10.
Alessandra did a beautiful job on all the floral work :)You sure you don't want a side job at Fabulous Fetes!? lol
These are a couple of pictures I took with my own camera stay tuned for the Pro-Pics taken by the amazing Studio by Carmen!

Brigitte & Mario, I was honored to be a part of your very special day. You both (especially Brigitte) looked great on Saturday.
Brig my love, you were absolutely stunning and you were soooo happy and that makes me very happy!

Miracle Walk/Run 2008

Hey everyone,

One of my beautiful brides Elle received a double lung transplant on July 9, 2007. She is doing great since the operation and we are beyond grateful that she was able to receive her new lungs (a picture of which is included in the second link below) thanks to an organ donor. We would encourage you to take a moment to read this , check out the links below, give a small donation and/or particpate in the walk to benefit the Transplant Foundation. On November 18, 2007, Elle and James (her Fiance) will be participating in the Miracle Walk/Run at the MetroZoo and they welcome you to join their team. This is a 5k event geared to promote organ donation in the community. In addition to the 5k, enjoy breakfast and ice cream, a health fair, music and entertainment. Plus, your registration includes the entrance fee to the zoo, so you can stay and enjoy the day! The proceeds benefit Transplant Foundation and their programs that give back to the transplant community. Your participation and the money you give will directly impact the lives of transplant patients and their loved ones. Money goes to patients who need help paying for things like medication, housing, transportation and utilities.

Below is the link to the team Elle created for the walk. She has put a goal of $1,000 but whether they reach the goal or not any little bit will help! Please pass this to everyone you know and if you are interested in joining their team please go ahead and do so. They are welcoming anyone who wants to join in and walking for this cause.

Please help in anyway you can as this is for a good cause. Elle is a testament to how organ donation and transplants change lives. The Transplant Foundation helps many people in need of transplants and the financial hardships they can encounter as well as medications and services that are not provided by insurances. They helped Elle tremendously and others as well. You never know when you or a loved one may one day need their services, so this is a great way and opportunity to give back. Any questions please contact us. Thank you for taking the time to read this. God bless.
